We are looking for a data-savvy and motivated analyst to support our retention efforts. You will work closely with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to increase the Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) through insights, optimizations, and continuous improvement of our CRM and product activities (email, push, user journeys, feature development). This is a hands-on analytical role with exposure to real business impact.
- Analyze user behavior, retention, and marketing effectiveness across email and push campaigns in partnership with the product team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and implement improvements across CRM systems, content, and targeting strategies.
- Drive user segmentation efforts and define corresponding funnels and incentives (e.g., re-engagement, re-booking, churn prevention and recovery, rewards).
- Conduct root-cause analyses for underperforming campaigns and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track KPIs, report anomalies, and identify optimization opportunities based on performance data.
- Participate in A/B testing setup, tracking, and post-analysis, deriving statistically valid conclusions.
- Visualize and communicate insights effectively through dashboards and presentations.
- Translate business needs into structured requirements for tech and data teams, supporting QA and validation.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related roles.
- Basic understanding of user retention concepts and a strong motivation to grow in this area.
- Foundational SQL skills and experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Superset).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights and detect trends or anomalies.
- Exposure to A/B testing and basic understanding of statistical significance.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, comfortable presenting findings and engaging in constructive discussions.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable data tasks.
- Curiosity, proactiveness, and a willingness to ask questions and explore alternative solutions.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English and German.
- Creativity in content or campaign suggestions and attention to detail in QA.
- Experience with customer engagement platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce, etc.).
- Prior experience with email and push marketing.
- Love for details and commitment to data quality.
