Your Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage end-to-end payroll operations and support People & Culture (P&C) processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise employee records in HRIS, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Manage critical P&C transactions including onboarding and offboarding.
- Support payroll tasks: verify timesheets, calculate leave, and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding P&C practices and payroll matters.
- Draft P&C documentation such as contracts and offer letters.
- Contribute to P&C initiatives through data analysis and document management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Act as a key interface for payroll-related topics with international managers and employees.
- Liaise with internal teams (P&C Service, People Partners, Rewards, Finance) and external auditors.
- Support year-end activities including accruals and audit preparation.
Your Profile
- 4–5 years of experience in German payroll (Lohnbuchhalter).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Payroll and Workday.
- Exposure to payroll processes in Switzerland or Austria is a plus.
- Strong understanding of tax, social insurance, and benefits.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and reporting (advanced Excel skills).
- Fluent in English; experience in a global matrix organization is preferred.
- Agile mindset, solution-oriented, and collaborative across sites and entities.
