Area Product Leader Global Payroll
JOB PURPOSE:
The global landscape continues to grow in complexity as organisations around the world evaluate, select and implement the full Global Payroll spectrum of solutions to ensure continued expansion and prosperity.
The Area Product Leader (APL) has a leading role to drive this critical activity and deliver rapid growth and expansion throughout the assigned regions against this volatile global backdrop.
In this role the APL has the remit to conceive, develop, implement all the necessary activities to ensure that ADP maximizes revenue performance across the field sales organization.
The APL will be aligning and working closely with the Field Sales organization. They will also be partnering and collaborating across the Business via Product, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Partner Management and Local & Global ExCom. The APL will act as a strategic link to provide key sales support for Germany Sales Leadership via education, measurement, and performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Execute on the product sales strategy for Germany Sales with a focus to deliver against the Germany Global Payroll Sales Plan
- Develop and support sales in Germany to meet the assigned in country sales quotas.
- Act as the product liaison to Marketing. Ensure the implementation and execution of marketing and opportunity identification programs. Assist in creation of sales messaging deployment.
- Assist with product sales and Business Consultancy education and coordination of training efforts for Global Payroll.
- Working with implementation and services in supporting clients/sales for smooth go-lives as required.
- Create and deploy industry knowledge and expertise within their geographic area of responsibility.
- Report market information regarding competitors’ efforts in the channel, pricing awareness, sales inhibitors, and successes in the field.
- Champion and interface between sales management and other functional ADP groups (field sales, training, SDR’s, operations, marketing, etc.)
- Drive involvement of channel partners in sales process with sales leadership through periodic reviews with focus on activity Standards and referral activity (inbound/outbound lead flow), partner updates and campaigns
- Work closely with Alliances team to provide support and drive more joint collaboration with our external Partners around Global Payroll.
- Work closely with Germany Sales Leaders and DVP on strategy and execution (and other countries as needed)
- Communication: Provide regular progress update, KPIs, key actions and activities to Germany Sales Leadership.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years experience in a product or channel marketing position or field sales management experience in a wide geographic area.
- Previous business services and/or business software experience a plus.
- Exposure and experience in complex HCM Sales processes
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally is essential.
- Ability to generate and implement concepts, ideas, and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment is necessary.
- Must be a strong team player.
