Under the general supervision of the Customer Care Supervisor, a Customer Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining a positive, helpful attitude and approach in providing excellent customer service to all customers.
What does a Customer Care Specialist do?
Engage with customers by telephone, chat, in person, or by email to provide information about products and services, to take orders, or to obtain details of service issues.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
Identify and escalate issues that require further assistance or management intervention.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily.
Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the company's customer service standards.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
At least 1 year of customer service and/or office-related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail.
