We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and highly collaborative Senior Event Marketing Manager to lead our global event program. from high-impact webinars to flagship industry conferences and regional roadshows. You’ll turn these touchpoints into key growth engines: driving pipeline, accelerating deals, and deepening relationships with our community of customers, prospects, and partners.
This role sits at the center of our marketing engine, connecting field marketing, brand, sales, and customer success, to bring engaging, on-brand event experiences to life. Here's how you'll make a difference:
Event Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a global event strategy aligned with pipeline goals, sales plays, and SoSafe’s regional go-to-market initiatives.
Own the annual events calendar across hosted and sponsored (e.g. key cybersecurity trade shows, third-party events) formats.
Set clear KPIs for each event (e.g. MQLs, influenced pipeline, ARR), and align with marketing, sales, and partner teams on shared success metrics.
Execution & Logistics
Manage end-to-end event operations: venue scouting, vendor coordination, booth and experience design, budgeting, staffing, and run-of-show.
Ensure every touchpoint reflects SoSafe’s mission, visual identity, and commitment to empowering people through awareness.
Lead cross-functional project teams and agencies to deliver seamless execution — on time and on budget.
Collaborate closely with external vendors, production agencies, and logistics partners to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality execution across all events.
Marketing & Promotion
Partner with field, brand, content, and digital teams to build integrated pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns that drive attendance and engagement.
Ensure clear, consistent messaging across event assets — from invitations to booths to follow-up nurture tracks.
Create moments that not only educate, but connect attendees to SoSafe’s value in a meaningful, human way.
Sales & GTM Alignment
Work hand-in-hand with sales, SDRs, and partner teams to identify high-value prospects and ensure tailored outreach before and after each event.
Equip sales teams with talking points, attendee insights, and follow-up guidance to turn event momentum into real opportunities.
Map events to key GTM motions, including product launches, ABM campaigns, and regional sales priorities.
Measurement & Optimization
Track performance of every event — from lead generation and pipeline impact to attendee satisfaction and ROI.
Deliver clear, actionable post-event reports and insights to inform future strategy.
Continuously refine event approach based on performance data, stakeholder input, and industry trends.
What makes you a great fit:
6+ years of event marketing experience within B2B SaaS or cybersecurity/tech environment
Proven success managing both hosted and sponsored events with measurable business results
Deep understanding of the buyer journey and how events influence different funnel stages
Strong project management, organizational, and negotiation skills
Experience managing vendors, contracts, timelines, and cross-functional teams
Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar)
Willingness to travel (20–30%)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with ABM and field marketing strategies
Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or awareness training markets
Creative sensibility and an eye for delivering premium, brand-aligned event experiences
