About CISPA
The CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security is a major federal research institution within the Helmholtz Association. The scientists research information security in all its facets. They conduct cutting-edge basic research as well as innovative application-oriented research and work on pressing challenges in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data protection. CISPA research results find their way into industrial applications and products that are available worldwide. In this way, CISPA strengthens the competitiveness of Germany and Europe. Your future area of responsibility
- Organizational and administrative work in the Science Support division at CISPA
- Involvement in tasks of the Early Career Support (ECAS) team to promote researchers at the doctoral and postdoctoral level
- Involvement in tasks of the Ethics Office (EO) team to promote the consideration of research ethics in cybersecurity and trustworthy AI
- Organization of events for early career researchers such as workshops, informal gatherings, or external retreats
- Support for administrative procedures of the ECAS/EO teams (e.g., correspondence, databases, evaluation procedures)
Your profile
- University student at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in any field
- Interest in computer science and the societal relevance of cybersecurity and trustworthy AI
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Structured and highly reliable working style
- Service-oriented, creative and open-minded personality
- Very good English language skills
- Preferably also at least moderate German language skills
