What you'll do
- Supervise all initiatives in the area of Procurement, driving the design and continuous improvement of the global Knauf Procurement Suite
- Ensure a smooth operation of all services and applications within the product area
- Lead IT Product Managers (m/f/d), Project Managers (m/f/d), Application Consultants (m/f/d), Operations Engineers (m/f/d), Developers (m/f/d), Testers (m/f/d), as well as key users and vendors
- Communicate intensively with key stakeholders (e.g., steering committee) to support active change and adoption management
- Continuously scan for relevant innovations and new technologies to identify further potential for improving procurement processes as well as coach and develop your team members
Who you are
- Strong track record in leading IT projects in the area of procurement or a similar field
- Excellent understanding of procurement solutions (e.g., Jaggaer, SAP Ariba), cloud, and AI technologies as well as proficiency in various project management methods/ tools like ServiceNow and Jira
- Team player with a good mix of business process and IT knowledge
- Experience in leading international and hybrid teams
- Fluent in English, with ideally German skills plus willingness for regular travel to Knauf locations on all continents
