KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST (INSIDE SALES) - m/f/d
JOB PURPOSE & PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will be responsible for complementing and supporting Global Key Account Executives activities for designated Global Key Accounts.
- Smooth customer and service oriented performance for designated key accounts
- Proactive account management incl. follow-up on sales leads
- Make quotations to customers for designated accounts incl. followup
- Negotiate prices and secure best cargo mix
- Produce and update ratesheets
- Active communicator with international internal as well as external stakeholders
- Escalation point for enquiries or complaints
- Liaise cross functionally to overcome operational issues
- Ensure compliance with company rules
- Promoting ecommerce platform and self-service tools as applicable
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A minimum of 3 years of professional shipping experience preferably within Inside Sales/Key Account
- Distinct customer and service focus
- Persuasive, target and result oriented, competitive with strong communication and negotiating skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills and a strong administrative focus
- Broad shipping knowledge with cross functional and commercial mindset & knowhow
- Business fluent in English and local language
- Strong digital orientation and growth mindset
