Title: EU Technical Team Leader
Reporting to: EU GM
Location: WiesbadenResponsibilities
- Lead and oversee all technical matters related to PCS (Power Conversion System) within the European market, including technology roadmap, product applications, system integration, and optimization.
- Build, manage, and mentor the technical team, ensuring high-quality project delivery and continuous capability improvement.
- Act as the primary technical contact with clients and partners, resolving critical PCS technical issues during project execution.
- Take responsibility for solution design and technical validation, especially of Front-of-the-Meter (FTM) PCS applications.
- Support technical evaluation and application expansion of related products such as EV chargers and energy storage systems (BESS).
- Oversee project planning and execution, serving as Project Manager when required, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality targets.
- Track industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights for product improvement and new technology adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
- Proven working experience in PCS technology with strong knowledge of PCS operation principles, system design, grid integration, control, and protection.
- Familiarity with energy storage systems (BESS), renewable integration, and grid-connected solutions.
- Hands-on experience with EV chargers or related power conversion technologies is a strong plus.
- Experience in Front-of-the-Meter PCS projects is highly preferred.
- Solid project management skills; prior experience as a Project Manager for large-scale engineering projects is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus); prior overseas working experience preferred.
