About The Role
As Copywriter (Germany), you’ll be the voice of Omaze across all our local content. You’ll write and edit German copy for campaigns, websites, CRM, social, product, and press — helping craft compelling messages that drive engagement, clarity, and conversion.
You’ll work closely with the Content Manager, Creative team, and other departments to ensure everything we say is on-brand, on-tone, and on mission. This role is perfect for someone who’s creative, meticulous, and passionate about storytelling with purpose.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Write, review, and edit German-language copy for marketing campaigns, digital content, social media, product pages, emails (CRM), and branded content.
- Own the copywriting calendar for Germany — ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables are met.
- Adapt global campaign messaging for the German market, preserving tone and meaning while ensuring cultural relevance.
- Develop compelling narratives for our prize draws, charity partners, ambassadors, and winner stories.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, product, partnerships, and social teams to ensure messaging is consistent and impactful.
- Proofread all written materials for grammar, spelling, tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Support press releases and PR messaging in collaboration with Communications and Partnerships teams.
- Help evolve our German tone of voice and brand style guide over time.
- Monitor content trends and contribute creative ideas for content innovation.
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience as a copywriter, content marketer, or editorial writer — ideally in a consumer-facing brand.
- Native-level German with exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
- Strong English comprehension and communication skills — for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfortable writing across CRM, social, web, product, and brand content.
- Skilled at adapting tone and message across formats, from emotional storytelling to conversion-driven copy.
- Meticulous attention to detail and grammar — you're the person who always spots the typo.
- Passionate about storytelling, purpose-led marketing, and writing that drives action.
- Highly organised, collaborative, and proactive — you can manage multiple briefs and deadlines with ease.
- Bonus if you have experience working with charity, lifestyle, or mission-driven brands.
