Job Description
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Working Student to join our HQ People Team. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our department and have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and energy to our projects.
- Support Daily Operations: Assist with administrative tasks, including managing employee files, and supporting our onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage Employee Data: Accurately input and maintain employee data using our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other internal platforms.
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and administrative processes via our internal ticketing system.
- Contribute to Documentation: Help create and maintain essential internal documentation, such as our employee handbook and departmental guides, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Support Special Projects: Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience. This could involve supporting culture building initiatives, organising team events, or contributing to our Talent Management strategy.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or have experience in a related field; prior experience in a similar administrative or people-focused role is also a plus.
- Ability to learn and work with HR tools and platforms effectively and proficiency in Google Workspace;
- Strong attention to detail, stakeholder, and time management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment;
- Availability to work at least 16 hours per week during regular business hours;
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
