What you'll do
- Support our design team in creating high-quality UI designs based on existing design systems
- Translate design concepts into developer-ready UI specifications and documentation
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of user interfaces with attention to visual consistency
- Rapidly sketch and iterate design ideas to explore and validate design solutions
- Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers in an agile environment
- Contribute to improving usability and visual clarity of SAP touchpoints through design
- Possibility to participate in user research to better understand user needs
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: UX Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, HCI, or similar
- Computer skills: Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; basic knowledge of how to work with design systems and UI patterns
- Language skills: Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Soft skills: Passionate about pixel perfection, fast and creative thinker, strong attention to detail, team player
- Others: First practical experience through internships or projects in the area of UI/UX design is a plus (please attach examples of your work or link your portfolio)
- Ability to come to SAP office in Berlin at least once a week
Meet your team
We are a passionate and user-focused research and design team within SAP’s software development organization, based in Berlin and Walldorf. Our mission is to craft intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences for technical users. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our designs are both delightful and feasible to implement.
We work with both the SAP product design system (Fiori) and the digital design system, making our projects particularly exciting. You will be part of a collaborative environment where your design skills directly impact the user experience of SAP products used around the world.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
