At Westernacher Consulting, we are committed to driving sustainable transformation, both for our clients and within our own organization. We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual to lead and shape our internal sustainability reporting and strategy. As a Sustainability Specialist, you will support the team in shaping and documenting our internal sustainability efforts. A core responsibility will be preparing our VSME sustainability report. You will also help implement sustainability frameworks such as SBTi, SDGs, and contribute to platforms like EcoVadis. You’ll also respond to client inquiries related to sustainability and provide input for proposals and presentations. Depending on your interests, there’s also the possibility to gain insights into sustainability consulting in the future.
What You Bring:
- Strong interest in sustainability, especially corporate responsibility, reporting, and EU regulations like CSRD
- A structured and independent working style, with a hands-on mindset
- First experience or basic understanding of topics like VSME, CSRD, SBTi, SDGs, or EcoVadis
- Ideally, some insight into how consulting firms operate
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Availability for 15- 20 hours per week, with flexibility depending on workload and reporting timelines
