Working student (d/f/m) - Single Aisle Program Controlling

• Start: 15.10.2025

• Duration: 12 months

We are an international and transnational team involved in any New Development Projects in the Single Aisle Family. We are responsible to plan and evaluate future projects, control their expenses and performance, anticipate changes and provide recommendations for necessary decisions.

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Finkenwerder

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You will assist with the creation, preparation, and processing of our financial data.

• You will effectively evaluate and process large amounts of data in various forms, and may even make yourself and the team more efficient through small programming projects.

• You will support the team in harmonizing processes, reports, and presentations, and can participate in or lead improvement projects.

• You will act as an interface between your peers and various clients.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of economics, economics & engineering, business administration or an equivalent field of study.

• You are characterized by independent, structured, and results-oriented work and enjoy working in a team environment.

• You have initial knowledge in the area of Finance & Controlling .

• You are interested in project management and data processing , and perhaps even have initial practical experience with tools like Google Workspace, SAP or cloud-based data processing.

• You also have good communication skills to collaborate effectively with your contacts.

• You speak English well and, ideally, have some knowledge of German.
