We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our Transformation & Operations team at MCC EMEA, a pivotal role for driving success in footprint optimization projects. You will oversee the movement and installation of assets, ensuring that performance is measured and monitored against agreed service levels, and that escalated issues are resolved swiftly and effectively.
Your work will directly influence service delivery and customer satisfaction, as you ensure smooth asset relocations during complex, multi-site projects. With over 60% travel expected, this is a hands-on, high-energy role where your ability to lead from the front will be essential.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating asset moves and installations during footprint optimization projects.
- Monitoring performance against service level agreements, ensuring targets are consistently met.
- Directing investigations into escalated issues and ensuring swift resolution to protect service quality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness during transitions.
- Maintaining high safety standards during all asset handling, installation, and operational phases.
- Building trust with local plant teams, even in challenging situations, and overcoming resistance through clear communication and problem-solving.
About You:
You are an experienced technical leader with a strong project management background. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and are not afraid to get your hands dirty to get the job done. You have a talent for building rapport, resolving conflicts, and motivating teams through periods of change.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Strong background in technical project management and equipment/asset installation.
- Highly skilled in Flexo / Digital and/or Offset roll-to-roll printing Labels & packaging industry
- Proven experience in overseeing multi-site projects with significant travel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Team player with a hands-on approach.
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable handling resistance and ambiguity.
- Fluent in English; German and/or Polish is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
