The Scope
The Student Assistant will be part of the Legal Operations team and will support the Legal Department in driving operational efficiency and improving legal processes. This role provides an opportunity for a student currently pursuing a degree in law, business, or related field to gain hands-on experience in legal operations, contract management, compliance initiatives, and administrative support.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of legal technology tools and platforms (e.g., DocuSign, matter management systems).
- Organize and maintain electronic legal files and databases.
- Perform legal and operational research and tasks.
- Assist in reporting and monitoring compliance.
- Support in drafting and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and process documentation.
- Support in legal operations trainings.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal operations team as needed.
Your profile
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in law, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn new legal technology tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The Fine Print
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Working hours: 20 hours per week (ideally across 3- 5 days per week).
- Duration: 12 months, with an opportunity to extend.
- Remuneration: 14€ gross per hour.
- Location: FSC office Bonn, Germany (hybrid or remote).
