Team mission
In the mission team we empower travelers to discover the world effortlessly by delivering a best-in-class search experience.
Your mission:
- Work in a cross-functional mission team with full-stack engineers, app engineers, designers and analysts.
- Help to enable your mission team to iterate fast and learn about our customers by designing, launching and iterating on A/B experiments.
- Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes.
- Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale.
- Work as a Full-Stack Engineer with Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, SASS, Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes.
Your toolkit:
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in web application development using component based frameworks.
- High proficiency in TypeScript and one of the following languages: NodeJs, React, Vue.
- Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications & services.
- Experience with writing tests.
- Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable and maintainable code.
- Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft.
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
What sets you apart:
- Backend experience.
- Working closely with the product manager, designer.
- Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building and event-based analytics.
- Prior experience working in the e-commerce space.
- Prior experience in start-up environments.
