About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Account Executive to join our German sales team and play a key role in Choco’s next growth chapter. You’ll be at the forefront of expanding our footprint in the food wholesale industry by acquiring new distributor partners, driving high-impact deals, and building lasting relationships. This is a full-cycle sales role where you’ll own the process from first outreach to signed contract — and have the opportunity to shape how we go to market in Germany.

What You’ll Do
Take full ownership of the sales cycle: From sourcing your own pipeline to closing deals and handing over to Customer Success.
Consistently generate new business through cold calling, email, LinkedIn outreach, in-person visits, and referrals.
Build and nurture relationships with both C-level executives at multi-million-euro companies and owners of family-run businesses.
Conduct tailored product demos that create urgency and showcase the business impact of Choco’s solutions.
Negotiate commercial terms that deliver win-win partnerships with long-term value.
Represent Choco at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Collaborate closely with SDRs, CSMs, and Sales Leadership to share market insights and refine our Go-To-Market approach.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities, targets, and product offerings in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You Bring
Proven closing experience as an Account Executive in a SaaS or similar tech environment.
Strong outbound prospecting skills with a track record of generating and managing your own pipeline.
Confidence in negotiating with senior decision-makers and handling complex sales processes.
Ability to explain technical SaaS concepts in a simple, compelling way to non-technical audiences.
Native-level (or C2) German and professional English skills.
2+ years of CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus).
Hands-on mentality and self-motivation to drive results without heavy direction.
Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a high-change, high-growth environment.
Nice to have: Experience in the food distribution/wholesale industry, selling to family-owned businesses, contributing to a GTM playbook, or leveraging AI tools for sales.
