KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (OUTSIDE SALES) m/f/d
JOB PURPOSE & PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you are accountable for the overall relationship and activities between ONE and your assigned Regional/Local Key Accounts.
- Responsibility for negotiating and managing the contract and client relationship
- Escalation point for enquiries or complaints
- Responsibility for setting the goals and strategy for development and growth of the business for your assigned accounts
- Accountability for post-contract onboarding and post-tender review
- Close contact with customer’s key players and procurement owners as needed
- Liaise with all relevant internal departments locally and/or beyond
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional shipping experience preferably within selling/negotiating/outside sales
- Target and solution-oriented with structured and self-motivated work style
- Competitive with strong communication and negotiating skills
- Broad and profound shipping knowledge with cross functional and commercial mindset & knowhow
- Business fluent in English and local language
- Strong digital orientation and growth mindset

Preferably located in the Düsseldorf office, alternatively location in Hamburg, Bremen or Munich office possible. In all cases a high degree of flexibility and mobility with regular travelling within the designated sales area (mainly Nordrhein-Westphalen and occasionally Hessen, Saarland and Rheinland-Pfalz) is essential.
