Procurement Manager, Northern Europe (m/f/d) – Hamburg

- Leadership Partner: Serve as the primary procurement liaison for cluster leadership, providing strategic guidance and vision for all procurement-related matters
- Strategic Alignment: Bridge global, regional, and local procurement efforts by aligning with Global Category Managers and Operational Procurement to ensure seamless strategy execution
- Stakeholder Influence: Build strong relationships with key local stakeholders, proactively guiding them through the procurement process and ensuring the use of optimal sourcing channels
- Procurement Excellence: Lead local supplier identification, negotiation, selection, and management, ensuring alignment with global sourcing frameworks. Support regional RFx events and provide insights for global strategy development – Think global, act local
- High-Stakes Negotiation: Lead negotiations for critical local agreements, driving value and risk mitigation with direct impact on the local P&L
- Supplier Management: Ensure that local suppliers meet agreed performance standards, taking corrective actions when needed to maximize value
- Policy Advocacy: Promote adherence to global procurement policies and processes across local teams and stakeholders
- Local Strategy Execution: Implement global category strategies and procurement best practices across:
- Build Store: Support procurement for new retail store construction
- Run Store: Manage sourcing for retail operations (e.g., facility services)
- Local Marketing: Partner with marketing to procure vendors for PR, events, and influencers
- Indirect Services: Oversee procurement for HR, Finance, Tech, and other indirect categories
- Sustainability Focus: Collaborate with central sustainability teams to deliver local initiatives contributing to Pandora’s emissions reduction goals
- Legal Collaboration: Work closely with Legal to develop and enforce local contracting standards and templates
- Financial Stewardship: Partner with Finance to validate savings initiatives and embed a strong cost-conscious mindset across procurement activities
WE DREAM - This is what we dream of:
- Extensive Procurement Experience & Toolbox: 5-8 years of experience in Procurement - preferably from a retail environment – and deep knowledge of procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, tendering, contract negotiations, knowledge in contract law and supplier management & ability to operate effectively across both global and local procurement landscapes
- Challenger Mindset: Willingness to question the status quo, challenge conventional approaches, and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and navigate complex negotiations with confidence and clarity
- Global Perspective: A deep understanding of global procurement strategies and frameworks, with the ability to translate and apply them effectively at the local level
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a track record of developing and executing high-impact procurement strategies
- Languages: Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
