Team mission
The Marketing Operations team is built on four core pillars: Strategy & Operations, Data & Technology, Intelligence & Insights, and Enablement & PMO. This function drives marketing effectiveness and efficiency by orchestrating planning processes, managing budgets, building unified data and technology stacks, and enabling data-driven decision making across all marketing channels and initiatives.
We're looking for a Marketing Operations and Insights Lead to architect and optimize the systems and processes that power GetYourGuide's marketing organization. As the operational backbone connecting Marketing, Product, and Supply teams, you'll translate strategic priorities into scalable execution frameworks. Your mission:
- Lead Strategic Operating Model Development: Drive the development and implementation of strategic operating models, focusing on optimizing performance for key business priorities and market opportunities
- Scale Operations from Pilot to Full Implementation: Lead the scaling of strategic initiatives from pilot programs to broader organizational rollouts, maintaining operational excellence, consistency, and efficiency throughout the expansion process
- Conduct Strategic Analysis and Generate Insights: Partner with channel teams and marketing analytics to perform deep-dive analyses on prioritized market segments, translating findings into actionable recommendations and coordinated improvement initiatives
- Build Data Infrastructure and Executive Communication: Develop tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks while delivering regular progress updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication of insights and strategic recommendations
Your toolkit:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 6+ years in marketing operations, program management, or business analytics roles. - Strategic & Operational Acumen:
- Demonstrated ability to create structure from ambiguity and scale processes effectively.
- Proficiency in breaking down complex problems into clear workflows and designing systems that enhance clarity, speed, and consistency across teams.
- Proven track record of influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders across departments, driving progress on complex, multi-team initiatives without formal authority. - Analytical Prowess:
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights for executive audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Looker, Databricks).
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira). - Impact-Driven Leadership:
- Strong bias towards impact, evidenced by a consistent track record of delivering results at scale, from ideation to execution.
- A hands-on leader who proactively identifies and resolves issues to ensure successful project completion.
