Job Title: Lead Meister Electrician

Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and certified Lead Meister Electrician to supervise and lead our electrical team. The ideal candidate will be a master tradesperson with extensive experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, from complex installations to diagnostics and repair. This role requires not only superior hands-on skills but also proven leadership ability to manage projects, mentor a team, and ensure all electrical work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, delegating tasks, providing technical guidance, and fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage electrical projects from start to finish. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Electrical Expertise: Perform and oversee all phases of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems.
Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections of all electrical work to ensure it meets national and local electrical codes, as well as company standards.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all electrical safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the team uses proper PPE and safe work practices at all times.
Training: Provide hands-on training and skill development for junior electricians and apprentices.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Meister brief or an equivalent advanced certification in electrical work is highly desirable.
Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of professional electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Mastery of all electrical tools, testing equipment, and techniques. Deep knowledge of electrical systems, including low and high voltage, and a strong understanding of all applicable electrical codes.
Leadership: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The ability to manage people, projects, and resources effectively.
Certification: A valid driver's license and an active electrician's license are required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and scaffolding, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Must be able to work in diverse conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and all types of weather.
