We are seeking an experienced insurance specialist (m/f/d) to join our team and play a key role in managing insurance-related aspects of our investment portfolio.
Your tasks- Collaborate with deal teams to review and negotiate insurance-related terms in purchase agreements
- Develop and implement insurance strategies to mitigate risks and enhance value creation opportunities throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and carriers to secure appropriate insurance coverage for portfolio companies
- Monitor insurance market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and risk management enhancement.
- Support in the administration/renewal of insurance policies of Mutares Holding and all offices
- You successfully completed an apprentice ship or hold a Bachelor’s in the field of Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or a similar field
- You have around 3-4 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on insurance brokerage, underwriting, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and coverage types to conduct insurance due diligence and negotiate insurance terms in the context of M&A transactions
- You are business fluent (written and spoken) in German and English and are familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- You are proactive and are able to effectively communicate different stakeholders combined with problem-solving skills
