The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for executing the sales strategy in order to achieve the POS target on the assigned accounts in the Germany reseller channel.
This position will work with the Germany VAR team in the region in order to execute the sales strategy with accounts. The role of Internal Sales Account Manager sits within NETGEAR VAR sales organization and is responsible for reseller accounts and is an internal sales role.
Key external relationships to this position are local Distribution and Channel partners.
This role is located in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve quarterly and annual quotas
Plan and prioritize sales calls and customer contact towards maximizing sales and achieving agreed business aims
Develop and leverage a presence within pre-defined channel accounts
Identify, develop and lead sales opportunities at both reseller and end user
Regular reporting and forecasting
Manage product, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
Use customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems
Respond to all sales enquiries by telephone and email
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Identify the key partners and develop NETGEAR business with them
Recruit and develop the reseller channel
Assist Partners on the phone and email to spot and close projects
Implement channel partner program and promotions
Build and maintain strong product knowledge to increase sales effectiveness.
Provide all information relevant for NETGEAR to improve business
Required Qualifications:
Experience in working with channel partners on end-user opportunities with a track record of winning them
Comfortable making numerous phone calls to target partner lists
2-3 years relevant sales experience or University Graduate.
Experience of working with MS Excel, Tableau and Sales Force would be an advantage.
Fluency in German and English, C1 level
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and experience with both at reseller and end user customers.
Good problem recognition, negotiation and resolution skills
Creative, systematic, hard-working, detailed minded & positive attitude
Must demonstrate good teamwork and initiative as well as ability to work independently
Displays high levels of personal drive, resourcefulness along with the ability to deliver against the odds
Dynamic personality with the ability to develop relationships at all levels both internally and in partner/reseller organization
Strong understanding of how vendors and partners work together to achieve customer satisfaction and competitive positive
Strong understanding and interest in technology and networking products is helpful
