Kitfix was founded in 1962 as a family-run toys and games wholesaler in East London. Over the decades, we transformed into a leading force in the British toy and craft industry, with iconic brands such as Sequin Art® and Diamond Art® , enjoyed by generations of creative minds across Europe and beyond.
In 2023, with the opening of our new state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, we rebranded and re-launched the company, marking the start of an exciting new journey. Today we combine the energy of a dynamic start-up with the strength of over 60 years of heritage, committed to driving innovation in arts & crafts, staying ahead of trends, and inspiring creativity worldwide.
This is your opportunity to lead the relaunch of our business and build a world-class marketing function from scratch.
The Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, high-energy Head of Marketing to join us at a pivotal moment. This role is ideal for a natural achiever who thrives in an environment without rigid structures, and has the vision and drive to build the framework, processes, and team needed from a blank canvas.
We combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, where everyone rolls up their sleeves to make things happen. It’s an exciting, collaborative environment where new ideas quickly turn into action and help shape the future of our brand.
Based in our Polish Headquarters (with hybrid working possible), you will:
- Build and lead the marketing department independently, developing processes and teams from the ground up.
- Design and build our full-funnel marketing strategy from the ground up — covering brand awareness, consumer engagement, acquisition, and loyalty.
- Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing with commercial objectives and accelerate growth across B2C and B2B channels.
- Take ownership of our rebrand relaunch, embedding our refreshed identity into every campaign and customer touchpoint.
- Deliver innovative, creative, and practical solutions to complex challenges in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Collaborate with leading high-street and online retail partners, working with their marketing teams to design and deliver innovative campaigns, particularly across social media, to showcase our products and strengthen brand awareness.
- Safeguard and evolve our refreshed brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Play an active role in consumer product and packaging development, and provide the Sales team with compelling brand assets and retailer presentations — helping to embed our rebranded identity in every market touchpoint.
- Lead the planning and execution of our annual programme of international trade fairs, consumer shows, and in-house events (6–8 trade fairs and 3–5 consumer fairs per year). Each event will be a showcase of our relaunch, creating impactful experiences that strengthen our global presence and bring our new identity to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Relaunch: Design and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to relaunch the business post-rebrand, with ambitious global growth targets.
- Team Leadership: Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing marketing team, instilling a culture of substance, accountability, and data-driven excellence.
- Digital & E-Commerce:
- Drive B2C sales via Shopify and leading online platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy (UK), Allegro (Poland), Kaufland (Poland & Germany), and Otto (Germany).
- Develop paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest) to scale awareness and conversion.
- Social & Influencer Marketing: Expand our community across social media platforms; manage influencer partnerships to inspire craft enthusiasts worldwide.
- Brand Management: Protect and evolve our iconic Sequin Art and Diamond Art brands, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Experience teams to maximise commercial success.
- Performance & Reporting: Track and optimise performance across awareness, consideration, acquisition cost, ROI, and marketing efficiency as % of revenue.
- Events & Trade Fairs: Represent the brand at leading trade and consumer fairs in the UK and internationally.

- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other relevant field of study.

- Deep knowledge of at least one major European market: UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, or Poland, with transferable skills to apply across markets.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision, turning goals into measurable results.
- A go getter who understands the importance of going the extra mile, and exceeding expectations.
- Creative and strategic thinker, comfortable with experimentation and bold ideas.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Mailchimp, Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, SEO/SEM) desirable, but not essential.
- Skilled at motivating and managing teams, with excellent stakeholder management.
- Industry experience in Toys, Arts & Crafts, or FMCG is desirable, but not essential.
- High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for creative products.
- Fluency in German language is preferred, but not essential.
- EU passport preferred, though relocation support is provided for applicants moving to Poland from outside the EU.
- The salary package will be determined individually based on experience and qualification.
What We Offer
