JOIN OUR TEAM
As an Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for aspects of product development, including quality specifications and checks, sample follow-up, internal production matters, coordinating photo shoots and marketing samples, as well as placing purchase orders (POs). You will have the opportunity to work with various types of products, such as dining and coffee tables. This position is limited to 12 months and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- work closely with the Category Buyer and assist in all daily tasks
- assist in the entire product development cycle, from managing samples to raising purchase orders
- cooperate directly with our creative and quality teams during the product development process
- maintain warehouse-, quality- and customer service-related queries, and supervise order placements
- liaise directly with our Asian and European business partners
YOU COME WITH
- a proactive, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a strong hands-on mentality
- strong organisational and time-management skills
- previous internship or first work experience in a buying or sourcing office (a plus)
- strong knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- excellent English skills (German skills are a plus)
