APPRENTICE TOOL MAKER (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
- You’ll learn how to manufacture casting and injection moulds as well as punching tools for industrial production
- As part of your training, you’ll also assemble, inspect and maintain tools
- Working with metal, you’ll use both manual techniques (such as filing and sawing) and machine-based methods (such as turning and milling)
- Step by step, you’ll become familiar with modern machines and measuring equipment – including the basics of CNC programming
Qualifications
- You have a secondary school diploma (Realschule) or a very good lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschule)
- You enjoy math and physics – you're curious about how things work and love learning new things
- You're passionate about technology: you have good manual skills, and you're especially interested in metalworking
- You have a strong spatial imagination, which helps you understand technical processes more easily
- Precision and accuracy are important to you – you like working in a structured and systematic way
