About the Team & Business Line:
For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle. Working with our Global Subsidiary Governance Services (GSGS) team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for the guidance of more junior members of the team with technical accounting questions (e.g. on IFRS), in conference with the operational Account Managers.
Responsible for the maintenance of high quality operating standards, procedures and quality controls, including the review of monthly/quarterly reporting packs and annual accounts.
Expected to pro-actively suggest improvements to existing procedures, standards and quality controls to keep improving our level of services.
Responsible for all group accounting matters for a limited portfolio of more complex client companies, including the preparation of monthly and/or quarterly reporting and annual accounts, preparation of and VAT returns and review of income tax returns.
Assist auditors in case of audits performed on client companies.
Pro-actively maintain and develop a network of internationally established clients.
Involved in other aspects of client work such as corporate, legal and tax and corporate secretary tasks.
Communicate with clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide.
About You:
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in finance/accounting/business economics and at least 4 years’ relevant experience with an audit firm, in an accounting position with an international organization or corporate service provider; exposure to tax driven structures is a definite advantage.
Largely completed your post-graduate studies for certified or registered accountant.
Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills and the ability to deliver high quality service.
Commercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills.
Able to work in a team autonomously and recognize when assistance or (peer) guidance is needed.
Ability to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work.
Fluent in English and German
