What you'll be doing:
- Take a leading role in the monthly close, including preparing journal entries, management reporting and analysis of P/L accounts in a timely manner
- Reconcile all assigned balance sheet accounts monthly and maintain a monthly balance sheet reconciliation book
- Ensure Intercompany activity is properly recorded and reconciled
- Participate in analyzing cash flow activities and report forecast variances
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports
- Provide support for internal and external audit requests, including Year/End audit
- Assist with the documentation and testing of internal controls to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reporting requests
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent experience preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally a mix of public and corporate accounting
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Basic to intermediate English skills (with willingness to learn and grow) and B1 level German skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented, accurate and committed to high-quality work
