Senior Sales Director - Global Athletes (m/f/d)
Full-time | Part-time | Job-sharing
The Global Athlete Division focuses on building, developing and commercializing the personal brand of world-class athletes. We represent high-profile personalities such as Jürgen Klopp, Boris Becker, Manuel Neuer, Alexander Zverev and many others. In addition to athlete representation, we advise brands on ambassador and sponsorship strategies, create compelling brand narratives and connect them with the right personalities, within or beyond our portfolio.
YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE
- Take on a leadership role in guiding and developing the Global Athlete Sales team (incl. direct and indirect reports)
- Assume full sales and budget ownership for SPORTFIVE’s globally relevant athlete portfolio
- Collaborate with SPORTFIVE teams across global markets to align strategies, share insights and leverage cross-border opportunities
- Beside your leadership function drive your own high-level sales activities, including sponsorship deals, speaking opportunities and media partnerships
- Represent SPORTFIVE as a trusted, professional and forward-thinking partner in all client and industry engagements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5–10 years of experience in international sales, ideally within sports marketing, athlete representation or brand partnerships
- A strong commercial track record, with proven success in developing client relationships and closing complex deals
- Experience in leading international or cross-functional sales teams, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior decision-making levels
- A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Business fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (e. g. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese)
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
