About the Job
We're looking for an experienced (Senior) Manager Partnerships (m/f/d) to join one of our partner companies. In this role you’ll lead and expand the strategic alliances within the defense industry.
Join our partner company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners to expand the organisation’s strategic reach and influence
- Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements including NDAs and MoUs ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, driving long-term value creation and ensuring the effective implementation of joint initiatives
- Collaborate across functions including engineering, legal, operations, and finance to integrate partner capabilities into current operations and new program development
- Monitor industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategy and surface new collaboration opportunities
- Support business development and capture teams by incorporating partnership components into defense proposals and contract bids
Your Profile
- Atleast 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, or a related function within the defense industry
- Demonstrated success in developing, managing, and scaling impactful partnership initiatives or projects
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with a proven ability to identify and pursue high-impact business opportunities
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, adapting quickly to evolving priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills with business fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
- Military background is a plus and valued for its domain expertise and perspective
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
