Project Management Officer (f/m/d)
Locations: Berlin (Berlin), Düsseldorf (NRW), Hanover (NDS), Würzburg (BY)
Your responsibilities
- Provide structured PMO support across project execution phases.
- Support PMO colleagues in applying methodologies effectively and building capability in core areas, ensuring progress on key topics requiring deeper PMO expertise.
- Track project performance in terms of time, budget, quality, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
- Actively support Project Managers in maintaining and improving risk and opportunity logs, ensuring structured tracking, regular reviews, and effective mitigation planning and escalation workflows.
- Lead and manage the lessons learned process, ensuring collection, analysis, and integration into future projects.
- Ensure project data quality and consistency across systems and reports.
- Support cost control, change management, and documentation accuracy.
- Facilitate internal/external project meetings and support communication flows.
- Train project teams on standardized tools, methodologies, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvement and knowledge sharing.
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a PMO role, preferably in the renewables construction or energy sector.
- Proven track record in risk management, including setup, tracking, and mitigation.
- Demonstrated experience in lessons learned management, including follow-through and implementation.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean, Agile, and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management platforms such as MS Project, SharePoint, SAP.
- Experience with project cost control, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, structured, and solution-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently while being a collaborative team player.
