As a Product Designer at koppla, your work will directly impact how our customers can improve their construction projects with the help of our platform. Your role will be crucial in shaping the user experience, ensuring that our tools are not only effective but also intuitive and visually compelling. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to turn complex construction management concepts into user-friendly designs. This role is about rapid iteration, direct feedback and continuous improvement, all aimed at delivering a product that stands out in the fast-paced tech landscape.
Compensation: €60k-75k + Equity

What you'll do
You will work with a small, high-performing team of engineers, a product manager, a UX researcher, a senior product designer, and product leadership. Together, you’ll deliver an outstanding product experience to our customers in the construction industry.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Collaborate with engineers and PMs to co-design solutions in tight iteration cycles, advocating for user value and design best practices while considering business and technical requirements.
- Design and deliver impactful product features, owning the process from ideation through handoff.
- Produce seamless, intuitive user experiences, validated by stakeholder feedback and user research.
- Use and contribute to our design system, including Figma libraries, workflows, and our design language.
- Develop a deep understanding of the construction domain and our customers’ needs. Together with your knowledge of design best practices, you will make sure we always incorporate a user-centered perspective in our product.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and the state of the art, proactively bringing new ideas to the team.

Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience designing digital products for desktop platforms, ideally browser-based.
- Able to balance excellent visual and interaction design skills with a pragmatic approach to delivering user value in a startup environment.
- Capable of grasping complex UX challenges and designing effective solutions.
- Proficient in Figma and experienced with systematized design libraries to create high-quality product designs.
- Thrive in a fully integrated product team — designing alongside PMs, engineers, and other designers.
- Motivated to work independently and take ownership from day one.
- Fluent in English, with at least B1-level German.
- Experience designing for the construction industry or other complex user needs.
