Opportunity
Be part of shaping the future of inline quality inspection for battery manufacturing as a part of the EU-funded consortium STELLAR that will develop safe, sustainable, and high-throughput production of li-metal anodes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with a broad range of partners with deep experience across the battery value chain, from materials science and simulation to production and testing. Supported by the deep expertise in thin film measurement within ZEISS the challenge will be to develop innovative solutions that meet the unique challenges faced in this consortium. Travel between ZEISS and partner sites will cement the supportive network needed to reach the ambitious goals.
The geographic anchor point will be the ZEISS innovation Hub @ KIT. With the motto turning today’s research into tomorrow’s applications – together, the ZEISS Innovation Hub @ KIT explores new technologies and application fields, enabling the transformation of ideas into innovations. Here, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and ZEISS employees meet at eye level and practice an open-innovation culture. For our team of researchers and engineers, we seek a student to support us with pushing opto-electronic systems in the field of spectroscopy forward to make the chemistry of our world visible anytime and everywhere.
