- Master's thesis on the topic „Energy Management System Tool for DC grids “
- Literature research on energy management system algorithms and control strategies
- Integration of RESs (e.g., solar, wind) and ESSs (e.g., batteries) into the DC grid
- Adaptive voltage sharing control for DC grids
- Develop algorithms for optimizing power and energy flow and minimizing losses within the DC grid
- Strategies for load balancing and peak shaving to enhance grid stability
- Use of simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) to test and validate the EMS under various scenarios
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering
Skills:
- Understanding of the principles of power electronics and DC grids
- Previous experience with EMS tools is an advantage
- Experience with simulation platforms like MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD desired
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English and/or German
- Individual support during the preparation of the Master's thesis
