Your role: The Digital Laboratory Lead Architect manages a team responsible for designing and developing digital laboratory architectures aligned with Life Sciences digital transformation goals. This includes overseeing systems like LIMS, ELN, and lab automation to support GxP operations. The purpose of this role solves the challenge of ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency by creating a future-ready digital lab ecosystem. The role is based in Darmstadt, Germany.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Develop and coach a team of Digital Laboratory Architects, fostering collaboration across IT and laboratory operations.
- Architecture Design: Ensure the governance of digital laboratory architectures, focusing on data integrity and compliance.
- Integration: Direct the design of integrated data flows between laboratory systems and enterprise systems, ensuring a connected laboratory environment.
- Program Management: Lead smart laboratory initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to meet compliance and business expectations.
Who you are:
- You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- You have at least 10 years of experience designing and implementing digital laboratory solutions in the life sciences sector.
- You demonstrate deep expertise in laboratory workflows and GxP regulations, including CFR Part 11 and Part 58.
- You have a proven track record with laboratory instrument integration into systems like LIMS and ELN.
- You are familiar with IT/OT technologies and processes for Digital Plant Infrastructure (DPI) programs.
- You have strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
