Overview of the position:
Hours: 39 hours per week (flexible)
Starting date: August/September 2025
Duration: Limited contract until 31.12.2025
Location: Berlin, Germany
Your main tasks:
- Support project implementation in close cooperation with the team in Berlin and project partners
- Assist in and lead (when applicable) organising travels and events in coordination with project team
- Support documentation of project activities
- Support to background research and to the preparation of briefing and project materials
- Currently enrolled in Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or similar
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Initial work experience in administration or project management, ideally in international settings
- Knowledge of concepts and processes related to peacebuilding, DDR, democratisation
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust to a very fluid project context
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English, French and German are asset
- Strong ability to work as part of a intercultural team as well as independently
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to structure and visualize complexity
