Coordinates the team of Product Managers in Business Unit LFF ; the PM are direct reports in the CoCs
Needs to work in a Matrix organization and in a coordination function.
Foster a close co-operation with R&D / Application Management
Contributes to the alignment of the strategic priorities and the product development
Defines the technology development requirements for all LFF business according to the PLM model and enhances the communication
Drives the defined technology development and innovation of the core technologies of LFF based on market requirements and business needs
Ensures that technology development is supported by a short-term or long-term rationale – typically a business case incl. investment budget, business and project plan – and that the business case is developed by valid input from relevant business owners and other stakeholders
Ensures that all Products are aligned with Digi / Sustainability and Service, according to current GEA design specs.
Drives the Add Better Labeling
Aligns with other Business Units and/or Divisions in terms of the development of new technologies and supports the respective application developments
Supports the KPIs and strategic targets given by the GEA Management while having a special focus on Sustainability
Is a true champion for the GEA values | objectives
Your profile and qualifications:
Masters’ Degree or PhD in relevant scientific field or Engineering or similar
Extensive experience in similar functions in either engineering, process industry, equipment or food & beverage manufacturing incl. 5+ years in a leadership role
Experience in technology management and/or Product Management
Experience in matrix organizations, especially influencing and leading without direct authority
Fluent in English (verbally and in writing) and German (GER level B2 and above)
Project Management within R&D
End-to-end process insight
Commercial understanding
Open-minded to new models, ideas and innovation (change champion)
Good people management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
