You will be responsible for understanding the industrial processes and selling the appropriate solutions and services to customers. Direct contact with all appropriate customers to promote and sell the Emerson products, solutions and services in the agreed geographical area of responsibility. Ensuring that the division is appropriately promoted and supported in the sales region and all other Emerson Business Units are introduced to the customer.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Achieve sales, bookings and gross profit targets for the division's product lines in the agreed geographical area; Actively visit existing customers to promote the assigned product lines, overall product portfolio and services (maintain customer base)
- Look for new opportunities to sell the assigned products and services to new customers; Seek new opportunities to sell Emerson Analytic Solutions to an existing and new customer base
- Report regularly to the Sales Manager on customer requirements, competition and market trends
- Negotiate business contracts with customers within agreed authority, including discount, pricing and volume structures
- Actively keep a complete definition of the customer organization (customer database) up to date
- Maximize both “face to face” time and other communication opportunities (phone, email, virtual meetings, etc.) with customers
- Maintain close relationships with product managers and other country organizations; Maintain trade compliance for procedures
Who You Are:
You are fact-based but open-minded, curious and have a technical mentality. You adapt well to change and are a team-player but performs well as a single contributor. You communicate in a clear, open, and respectful manner.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
- Fluent in German and English languages
- Several years of industrial experience, ideally in process engineering
- Availability to frequently travel in the assigned territory
- Driving license
