We are now looking for an Account Executive responsible for key accounts, maximizing ARR and penetration at each account (number of active seats), approaching and winning new accounts based on the company’s named account list, and prospecting high-potential accounts in the region. He/She is also responsible for proactive up-sells and cross-sells.
The Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales and conversion targets, positively representing the company by providing information about products or services, answering questions, resolving issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the penetration of a pre-defined list of Named Accounts.
Creates and implement penetration strategies for each account in the assigned Target Named Account list.
Manage a list of large, existing customer accounts to develop and maintain long-term relationships and accomplish account growth.
Research key customers’ wants and needs, suggest relevant solutions, and educate them about product features and benefits to create up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
Prepare proposals for new and existing key clients based on their needs and budget constraints.
Identify potential new customers outside of the pre-defined Named Account list and research decision-makers.
Resolve customers’ complaints in an effective and respectful way.
Gather, report, and communicate customers’ feedback on service, technology, and product delivery.
Keep up to date with industry and market trends and best practices to identify new business opportunities and respond to competitor activity.
Attend relevant industry events to meet key customers and maintain relationships with relevant partners in the industry.
Maintain a clear track record within the company’s CRM system.
Monitor sales results based on KPIs, prepare reports and analyses for sales management.
Fluent in English.
Additional foreign language is a plus (Spanish and Portuguese preferred).
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in general software licensing and sales practices, experience with different software licensing models and sales approaches.
Familiar with the AEC/M&E industries and SaaS businesses.
Negotiation skills.
Great problem-solver.
Autonomous in prioritizing day-to-day tasks.
Effective communication over email (and phone).
University or high school degree.
Experience in sales for a company in the IT sector will be considered an advantage.
Key technical skills:
Experience with customer relationship management software.
Familiar with GSuite.
Research the leads - LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google.
Familiarity with some of the major CAD/3D design software programs is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage.
