Data Scientist - Antifraud

We are looking for a Data Scientist - Antifraud, Fintech to join the Fintech Data Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Our team creates innovative fraud prevention products across multiple markets, catering to the diverse needs of consumers, vendors, and riders on our platform. We design solutions that enhance our customers' experiences, ensuring that our lending portfolio provides value and support.

• Build and improve DS solutions, analytics tools, automation pipelines, and decision-making platforms using advanced ML techniques

• Collaborate with engineering, product, ops and analytics teams to enhance systems

• Analyze transaction data to detect anomalies and trends

• Develop real-time and batch fraud detection algorithms

• Own the full model lifecycle: from data sourcing and analysis to model training, deployment, monitoring, and explainability

• Scale solutions to support over 70 countries

• 
  3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Jira, and Git

• Skilled in pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, and matplotlib

• DS/ML background focused on structured data (classification, regression, clustering) with experience deploying real-time models

• Clear communicator who explains complex topics simply, using storytelling

• Fluent in English; collaborative and curious team player

• Business-oriented: translates needs into solutions, challenges assumptions with a critical eye on data and decisions

Nice to have:

• Experience with big data tools such as Spark and BigQuery

• Experience with graph algorithms and network analysis

• Background in fraud / risk detection

• Skilled in handling imbalanced data and real-time data processing

• Experience with developing NN-models in PyTorch

• Experience with Docker, Airflow, Metaflow, MLFlow, Grafana
