ABOUT THE TEAM

The Cloud Business Process Management team works with cloud teams to support continuous progress toward a simplified and harmonized cloud service experience. The unit builds the bridge between cloud-related development, operations, and customers.
We work on a global project to simplify and harmonize business processes and to integrate a new ITSM system throughout the whole SAP landscape. The goal is a fully integrated end-to-end IT Service Management Solution with the same technology by harmonizing processes for all Lines of Business based on a modern cloud architecture.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) who enjoys assisting with varied engagement(s), project(s) and/or program(s) and interacting with other colleagues and different stakeholders SAP-wide. The main area of responsibility will be the support of our internal team with further improving of the standard processes and tools for the IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes of the Process Framework.

The related tasks include, but not be limited to:

• reation and maintenance of process documentation and related assets,
C
• reation and maintenance of BPMN diagrams in Signavio,
E
• nsure timely delivery of quality documentation regarding Cloud Delivery processes, Customer Support processes and tools. P
• erform process document and related assets quality checks and implement changes.
S
• upport team members with process maintenance and governance related back-office activities like managing process publishing requests, change asset requests, tool end-user support, handling the team mailbox information requests, manual synchronization of control data between tools, etc.
C
• reate process documentation reports based on LoB demands, audit preparation and audit trail logging. T
• his position will provide you an in-depth look into the SAP CPIT’s Business Process and Solution Management unit and is one of few companies adopting the BPMN and ITIL Best Practices for their business processes.
C
• ontinuously striving for process and tool optimization & process adoption.

This position will provide you:

• n-depth look into the SAP Corporate Process Framework and specifically into the Cloud Operations and Support Customer process areas, adopting the BPMN and ITIL Best Practices for their business processes.
H
• and-on experience on global process project design, deployment, implementation, adoption and feedback collection.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

P
• referred fields of study: Master students of Business Informatics, Data Sciences, Engineering or Technology with at least 3 semesters left to finish studies.
T
• echnical Skills: Process modeling using BPMN standards (Signavio preferred), MS Office applications including Excel and Power point. B
• eneficial: Basic understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. L
• anguages: Fluent in English, with strong writing skills. German beneficial.
S
• oft Skills: Curiosity, quick apprehension, and willingness to learn about new technologies, concepts, and tools. Goal-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and able to work independently and proactive way.
