We’re looking for a motivated Testing and Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our fast-growing robotics team. You’ll play a key role in verifying, validating, and supporting the software and systems that power our next-generation unmanned ground vehicles, used in both governmental and commercial domains. From hands-on testing in the field to debugging software and
supporting internal and external stakeholders, your work will ensure the reliability and

- Test and validate the full robotic system, including communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, wireless), as well as hardware and software integration
- Conduct hands-on testing in both lab and real-world field environments to ensure system reliability, performance, and robustness
- Identify, reproduce, analyze, and document bugs or system failures; collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive timely resolutions
- Continuously improve and maintain testing procedures, validation checklists, and issue reporting workflows for clarity and efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and systems teams to ensure quality and consistency across all subsystems
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers, including hands-on assistance during field deployments when necessary
- Develop and maintain tools or scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate testing, diagnostics, and other repetitive tasks
- Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality assurance processes and customer support workflows.
Your Profile

- Proven hands-on experience in testing and debugging hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems or complex robotics platforms.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, TCP/UDP, and serial interfaces.
- Proficient in Linux and command-line tools; scripting skills in Python or Bash are a strong plus.
- Foundational knowledge of embedded systems, controllers, and actuator/sensor integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across both hardware and software domains.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support internal engineering teams and external partners.
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Git, or ROS2 is a significant advantage.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
