Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Leadership: Partner across high-performing teams while championing GE Aerospace’s core behaviors: respect for people, continuous improvement, and a customer-driven mindset. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation to achieve program goals.
• Project Management: Hands-on management across the lifecycle of funding initiatives, including proposal development, resource allocation, and reporting, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery of outcomes.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to secure funding from government programs, industry partnerships, and other sources, ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace’s innovation and growth objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies, external partners, and internal teams to optimize funding opportunities and ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a lean culture and encourage the adoption of GE Aerospace’s proprietary FLIGHT DECK model, which emphasizes operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor-Abschluss in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Maschinenbau oder einem verwandten Bereich.
• Fundierte Erfahrung in der Luftfahrtindustrie mit Hintergrund in Ingenieurwesen und Programmmanagement.
• Fließend (schriftlich und mündlich) in Deutsch und Englisch.

Desired Characteristics

• Erfahrung im Bereich Turbomaschinen-Design.
• Ausgeprägte Projektmanagement-, Problemlösungs- und continuuous improvement skills.
• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Projekten in globalen, kollaborativen Teams.
• Hervorragende Kommunikations-, Team- und Führungsfähigkeiten.
