YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You apply your knowledge in infrastructure to host our website in a fast and secure manner
- You collaborate side-by-side with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize large-scale web applications in a micro-frontend architecture, including core modules, our design system and customer facing features
- You work with the latest web technologies in a large-scale project, providing our products to millions of customers
- You develop and maintain frontend applications using the most modern technology stack, migrations and introduction of new tools and technology are nothing you fear
- You maintain and enrich our Web build infrastructure, enabling our feature teams and serving our website to millions of customers worldwide
- You guide and mentor fellow engineers to develop excellent solutions
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience You have proven experience in building high-quality, scalable, and resilient web applications in the React ecosystem using TypeScript
- Innovation You have a deep understanding of modern web technologies and know how to accelerate your work using AI
- Tools You can not only build big-scale web projects but also know how to serve them worldwide to thousands of customers a day. Cloudfront, Lambda@Edge and Cloudflare are you best friends
- Github actions You are familiar with CI/CD topics such as Github Actions and Sonarqube
- Sparring You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, have a product-orientated mindset and you pay attention to detail. You will be one of the first people consulted about a problem statement
- Communication You have concise communication skills and enjoy working with technical as well as non-technical stakeholders
