The Role
As a Senior Legal Counsel (all genders), you will play a key role in supporting our Sales department and other business functions with legal expertise, particularly in commercial law. You'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking Legal team, driving initiatives that enhance our contract management and legal tech capabilities.
What you'll do
- Provide business-oriented legal advice to the Sales department, with a focus on commercial law
- Lead cross-functional initiatives between Sales and Legal, including process optimization and legal tech/AI projects
- Draft, review, and amend contracts for customers, partners, and suppliers
- Continuously improve contract templates and playbooks
- Negotiate Lucanet's contracting positions and develop creative solutions for non-standard cases
- Administer and optimize our contract management system, ensuring KPI tracking and compliance
- Advise and train internal stakeholders on contracting and commercial legal matters
What you bring to the table
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent degree
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) - German skills are a plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in SaaS contract negotiation
- Strong business acumen and interest in legal tech/AI
- Pragmatic approach to contracting in a multinational, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and willingness to travel when needed
