Our product Logipad is an indispensable iPad application trusted by aviation professionals worldwide.
We are now looking for a passionate and experienced (Senior) iOS Developer (m/f/d) to join our team and help evolve the app into its next phase: more modern, more stable, better tested, and even more intuitive and user-friendly.
Your main tasks:
- Take ownership of core features and components of our iOS app written primarily in Swift (with some legacy Objective-C).
- Lead the transition away from Objective-C, modernizing and refactoring.
- Champion testing practices to increase test coverage and reliability in a crash-sensitive environment.
- Collaborate with design and product to refresh the user experience and improve UI/UX quality.
- Work closely with the CTO and a small, highly capable dev team to deliver improvements quickly and sustainably.
- Investigate and resolve crashes, performance issues, and user-reported bugs.
- Contribute to shaping technical direction, architecture, and future-proofing decisions.
- Several years of iOS development experience, ideally with at least one production app used at scale.
- Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C and SwiftUI.
- Solid understanding of UIKit and experience building complex iPad UIs.
- Experience with unit testing, snapshot/UI testing, and improving test coverage in existing codebases.
- An eye for detail and design — you care about building apps that are a joy to use.
- Experience diagnosing crashes using tools like Xcode Organizer, Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — you’re a team player who loves solving real-world problems.
