We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team at AVATR Global Design Center. In this role, you will support our Purchasing Manager in strengthening and expanding our purchasing team.

What you will do:

• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure the best value for the company.
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies, ensuring all purchasing activities align with business objectives and budgetary constraints. 
• Cost Control: Track and manage purchasing budgets, working to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
• Supplier Evaluation: Regularly evaluate supplier performance, ensuring products are of high quality, delivered on time, and meet contractual agreements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely and efficient procurement.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new suppliers to ensure competitive purchasing decisions.
• Order Processing: Oversee the purchasing order process, from requisition to receipt, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, expenditures, and savings, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards regarding procurement practices. 

What you will bring: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management role 
• Skills:     
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP) and procurement software.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Languages: Fluent in both German and English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus
