The key to growth at NielsenIQ is a high-performing sales team, and driving efficiency and effectiveness for our sellers is critical to success. Thus, we are seeking a talented, result-oriented Sales Support associate to help build and scale our local sales operations function, enabling our mission to accelerate growth.
The Sales Support associate will drive continuous improvement in the sales funnel, in support of seller efficiency in Germany. That role will be responsible for advocating, optimizing and motivating Commercial teams to embrace best practice end-to-end processes that support efficiency with lead generation and opportunity management. This associate will also drive seller effectiveness, by supporting adoption of global training, technology and analytics initiatives. The role is highly cross-functional and is responsible for driving transformational activity to enable a modern sales culture. It requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Billing, Product, and Customer Success, connecting all stages of the sales cycle.
The associate to take on the Sales Enablement/Sales Support T&D Role in Germany will be part of a cross-industry Sales Support team and work closely with the German Sales team and with the VP Commercial T&D Germany. In collaboration with the entire sales team, she/he supports in all upcoming requests and closely interacts with commercial, financial-related functions to steer internal tasks, supports reporting and to provide transparency in business performance.
The associate for the above role works with sales teams as well as the VP Commercial T&D to make processes more efficient, faster, and easier.
Your future responsibilities:
- Supporting VP Commercial Germany in various d2d activities
- Support sales management & financial reporting
- Responsibility of tasks within the sales activation/sales controlling departments for T&D Germany incl. gap analysis and action plans
- Implementation and roll-out of global commercial NIQ/GfK-Standards in Germany
- Run high-quality reporting for reoccurring business reviews and ad hoc requests, to track sales performance and derive sales strategies
- Support local account and budget planning
- Support OP Process moving forward
- Create BI (+CRM) reports and dashboards in order to measure relevant KPIs
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of the sales pipeline / opportunity roadmap to allow appropriate Forecasting
- Sales activation and performance tracking of new products
- Drives BI (+CRM) accuracy and hygiene
- Planning and execution of trainings (e.g., BI functionalities) and quality initiatives
- Supports monthly, quarterly and annual setting & achievements of objectives (SIP targets)
- Support account managers in the German T&D team in the order booking and contract management process as well as in invoice creation and amendments
- Liaise with account managers and NIQ/GfK credit controlling/accounts receivable team to support in-time payment of client invoices
- Central management of subscription renewals within the CRM tools
- Support account managers on standard contract creation
Your profile:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support or Sales Enablement
- Problem solver with analytical skills and an enthusiastic team player who brings new ideas
- Passionate about sales who wants to contribute to build sales excellence organization
- Good understanding of Legacy GfK solutions and financial processes
- Proved experience with Sales Force, MS Dynamics, BI or similar CRM tool ability to build CRM reports
- Skilled in financial / sales reporting
- Experience in Sales Incentive measurement
- Strong interest in coaching and mentoring and developing people
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and written in both German and English languages
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and passion for detail as well as ability to draw topline conclusions
