Research Associate (all genders) - Bioinformatics
Main tasks
As part of a team of seven bioinformaticians, you will support various bioinformatics projects in the area of biomedical research.
Your tasks:
- analysis of various “omics” data (in particular from the fields of genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics and proteomics)
- automation of analysis processes
Your Profile
- Academic degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics or a related field of study
- Solid knowledge in the field of sequence data analysis or scientific workflow systems
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language
- Good command of Linux
- Good knowledge of English
- Commitment, coordination and organizational skills, quick comprehension, independence, ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, containers and computer clusters is an advantage
